Pierson Sixth-Graders Take Learning to New Heights
Treetop trails, ziplines and rope courses set the scene for an adventurous day as Sag Harbor’s Pierson Middle School sixth-graders took on The Adventure Park at Long Island. The students spent the day exploring the outdoors and tackling team-building challenges that strengthened communication, trust and problem-solving skills, all while sharing plenty of laughter.
“It was great to see how they encouraged each other through the difficult courses,” said Eileen Caulfield, Pierson sixth grade English teacher.
The annual sixth grade trip is always a great way to kick off the school year, helping students build confidence, connect with classmates and embrace new challenges from the very start.
